THE WILDEST WILDFLOWERS on the block
Break up the soil w your trowel/shovel/hoe/least favorite kitchen fork/etc. Rake, then scatter, then rake again.
FREDDIE’S TIP: when you scatter wildflower seeds, put a little sand in yer hand so later on you can see where you dropped ‘em off.
Keep the sun shining on those seeds, i.e. rake a thin layer of soil over but don’t bury them completely.
Gently water the surface area on a spray setting, careful not to drown your soil in a flood of hose water.
Germination occurs fast - expect to see sprouts as soon as 10 days into scattering.
Do not disturb the bees, for they will visit!
